In the video, CDS’s 2nd grade showcases some of Sarasota’s most welcoming places, share fun facts about the area, and offer kind words of encouragement to help new immigrants and refugees feel at home. This project gave the students an opportunity to learn about empathy, celebrate diversity, and understand the importance of making others feel included.
